Paris tasting a morsel of Dénia

The Dianense gastronomy conquered the French capital this week by participating in the Tapa World Day organized by the platform Taste Spain. Dénia was one of five Spanish cities that participated in this event and the only city in the Mediterranean to have a presence on it.

The event took place at the Spanish embassy in Paris, and the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, the president of the Marina Alta Hospitality Entrepreneurs Association (AEHTMA), Cristina Sellés, the restaurant's chef, moved there on Thursday. Peix & Brases, José Manuel López Iglesias and his assistant, the manager of AEHTMA; Reme Cerdá, and the head of the Dénia Tourism department, Pepa Cardona.

Dénia offered to diners 250 two native tapas: a bite of red shrimp from Denia and a cover of ventresca Mediterranean bluefin tuna in healing cuts on bread Les Rotes.
