Paris tasting a morsel of Dénia

The Dianense gastronomy conquered the French capital this week by participating in the Tapa World Day organized by the platform Taste Spain. Dénia was one of five Spanish cities that participated in this event and the only city in the Mediterranean to have a presence on it.

The event took place at the Spanish embassy in Paris, and there the mayor of Denia moved Thursday, Vicent Grimalt, the president of the Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta (AEHTMA), Cristina Sellés, the chef of the Peix & Brases restaurant, José Manuel López Iglesias and his assistant, the AEHTMA manager; Reme Cerdá, and the head of the Dénia Tourism Department, Pepa Cardona.

Dénia offered the 250 diners two native tapas: a bite of red prawn from Dénia and a tapa of Mediterranean bluefin tuna belly in short curing on pan de Les Rotes.
