A new panel in the Greenway reports the cycle route linking Denia and Gandia

Although a non-existent station, the Navy and Safor are joined by several paths. One of them, the cycle route that from the Via Verde de Dénia, reaches Gandia. To make your journey easier and identifiable, the Department of Environment and Climate Change has installed a new information panel on this route at the end of the Greenway.

The panel, with map, images and explanatory text is a copy larger than it is at the beginning of the Via Verde de Dénia and aims at enhancement of the friendly route 36 kilometers linking the capitals the regions of Marina Alta and Safor. The route crosses the agricultural landscape of orange and the Marjal Nature Reserve, through the most significant places of this area: the river Bullent, the Muntanyeta Verda and Font Salada.

From the Department claim that «divulgar una ruta de conexión de las dos Vías Verdes que transcurren por el trazado del antiguo ferrocarril de Denia en Carcaixent es un incentivo de primer orden en el marco del turismo ambiental que interesará a vecinos y visitantes de las poblaciones por donde pasa la ruta propuesta». In addition, many cyclists can get from around Valencia by train to Gandia carrying your bike and make the trip to Denia along the route.
