The door-to-door garbage collection service began on March 20; Along with this initiative was the installation of containers to deposit organic matter. The Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has highlighted the importance of installing the first battery of containers and the vehicles adapted for collection with the new system. The organic fraction is very sensitive, any residue that is not organic spoils the entire batch. The card or key system, which by the way is used in 95% of populations with organic, is to make sure that only interested people will use it. Remember that the existence of the container does not obligate its use.
