This Sunday was held in Candeleda (Avila) on National Cross Master Championship. A competition in which the dianenses athlete, mayca Room, belonging to the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium, which in turn is a subsidiary of the Athletics Club Beach de Castellón traveled there with this second team to start at the Team cross championship.
The result obtained has been outstanding, by getting a bronze medal hanging from his neck by teams in the F-45 category. The Castellón team besides Mayca Sala formed with Eva Sorli, Cande Iniesta and Desiree Climent.
Mayca Sala was very satisfied with this result, after the test she commented that, "It has been a very tough cross, with lots of rain, mud and wind, where it was impossible to run without nail shoes; authentic cross, very different from the one we are used to running in the Valencian Community, where the terrain is dry and without mud and the race pace becomes more stable".
The dianense adds that, "It has been a very positive experience and we have defended ourselves very well against teams from the north and center of the peninsula more accustomed than we are to dealing with this type of terrain and weather conditions. For me an experience that I would repeat without hesitation. Being a bronze in this championship is an excellent result".
