The athlete, mayca Room, of the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium, this weekend was hung on his neck the bronze medal, the 4X400 relay test of the Spanish Athletics for Veterans Championship. The competition held at the track of Elche was a success for the Dianense who expanded his extensive palmares with a new medal.
Mayca Sala was part of the Club's relay Beach from Castellón, a team of which the Dianense club is a subsidiary, along with their teammates, Ana Font, Candelaria Iniesta and Eva Sorli, this team was the third to cross the finish line. Her time was 1: 03.34. The winning team was Atletismo Alcorcón with a mark of 1: 02.04. The second place went to Atlético Aranjuez with a record of 1: 20.20.
On an individual level, the Dianense participated in the 1.500 test, defending the colors of the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium. In her category of 45 years, the Dianense finished in the 12ª position with a mark of 5: 31.46.
The next commitment for Mayca Sala will be the Championship of Spain by clubs that will take place the 8 of July. The objective is to try to improve the fourth place achieved in the previous edition.
