More than 6.600 students from Dénia cross the doors of their schools again

11 September 2023 - 10: 56

Today, Monday September 11, the school population of Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre returns to the classrooms to start the 2023/2024 academic year. According to data provided by the Regidoria d'Educació, this year there has been a significant increase in the number of enrollments.

With a greater number of students eager to learn, the doors of schools today have been filled with students excited to reunite with their classmates or with the inevitable vertigo of facing for the first time a classroom full of those who will be their classmates as they grow up.

In total, 4.000 students will begin their journey in the city's eleven schools, while 2.670 young people will complete secondary education in three institutes and the Dénia Public Integrated Vocational Training Center. In addition, the Raquel Payà special education school will also receive its students in this new academic cycle.

This increase in enrollment is notable compared to the previous year, when 3.555 enrollments were registered in early childhood and primary education, and 1.800 in secondary education.

The school year begins and there is a lack of teachers.
    Honestly, shameful.
If there is something to change in Spain, it is the left of this country that only cares about the independence of Catalonia and women.
We need a more balanced government.
It cannot be that with so much unemployment there is a lack of teachers.
    And another issue, buying.
Pedro Sánchez approves an educational reform and forgets about this.
    Incredible
