HLA San Carlos Has organized a solidarity marathon 'Donate blood with much pleasure' to be held next Wednesday 14 June in its center of Denia. The event will celebrate World Blood Donor Day, and has been devised by the College of Physicians of Alicante, whose headquarters in Denia is HLA San Carlos Office. In this event also collaborate the Transfusion Center of the Generalitat Valenciana and MUFACE, the mutuality of the State.
One of the most special characteristics of this solidarity day will be the collaboration of renowned chef Pepe Rodríguez, who will be in charge of creating and designing the sandwich with which HLA San Carlos will give to the donors.
Mabel Ortiz de Salazar, Chief of Hematology and Hematology of the Transfusion Center of Alicante, Encarna Llinares, Territorial Director of Health and Francisco Javier Camarasa, delegate of MUFACE in Alicante will be some of the attendees.
HLA San Carlos has set a target for more than 100 donations for this event, focusing it on an extensive donation schedule that will start in the morning from 10 to 14 hours and continue in the afternoon from 16: 30 to 20: 30 hours. Anyone who wants to participate can go to the HLA facilities in Dénia, Partida Madrigueres, Sud 8.
To make matters worse, they have prepared a very special draw for all donors. You can get a dinner in a notorious restaurant in Denia.
It is expected a wide collaboration of the residents of Denia and surroundings to achieve the success of this great solidarity event.
