GV Arquitecnia presents his recent project: the design of semi-detached houses in Dénia, Alicante. These are two Mediterranean-style homes in which the use of white and natural stone masonry on the façade prevails.
The houses, which will have approximately 190m2 built, are built on a single floor. The main rooms are oriented to the south, with better solar control through the use of overhangs and the wet areas and the parking lot are north facing.
They are designed so that the living-dining room has a direct relationship with the outside, through the use of sliding windows that can be retracted, completely opening the houses, thus generating total permeability, which implies an absolute integration of the environment in the houses.
This is important due to the importance of outdoor spaces in locations like Dénia that have a favorable climate almost all year round. Both houses have a swimming pool and a shaded covered outdoor space, as well as an uncovered area.
