The General Budgets of the State allocate an investment of 31,87 euros per inhabitant in the Marina Alta

13 2018 April - 13: 39

Insufficient, discriminatory, precarious. So they define from the PSPV Denia and Marina Alta the general state budget that the government of Mariano Rajoy expects to approve shortly. And it is that, in 2018, the investment per inhabitant of the Marina Alta that this document reflects amounts to a total of 31 euros. An extremely low figure if one takes into account that the state average per inhabitant is 87 euros.

With these numbers in hand, the deputy Herick Campos; the Secretary General of the Dianenses Socialists and Mayor, Vicent Grimalt; and the Secretary General of the Socialists of the Marina Alta, Óscar Mengual, have shelled the (few) investments and joys that Rajoy's budgets leave in our area.

Investments in the Marina Alta for 2018

In total, the investments destined to the Marina Alta add 7.622.990 €. The projects that have financing are the Benissa Variant, with 3.075.000 €; the Catwalk by N332 in Calp, with 1.100.000 €; the remodeling and improvement facilities Parador de Jávea, to which 2.500.000 € is destined; and the rehabilitation of the Carrer de San José building in Denia, whose works amount to 847.990 €.

Special mention deserves the budget heading for the Tren de la Costa, for which the eternal 100.000 euros that have been allocated in recent years and that have never been invested are still available. In this sense, Campos added that amount "it does not give neither to make the reports that must be done, nor the project. This means that the Government of the PP He is telling us that the Tren de la Costa 5 years from now will not be half done. First you have to make the reports, tender the work and then execute it. That has deadlines and we are talking about that, every year that passes, is one more year without starting the work ".

The regional secretary, Óscar Mengual, regretted that "We have an autonomous community in precarious, with no management capacity, not only in terms of state competences and the scarce points in these budgets".

On the other hand, Herick Campos has announced that the PSOE together with the PSPV will demand that the Government "end inequality" and will vote no on these budgets.

It is latent that they do not know how to negotiate. There is no point in lamenting his own ineffectiveness. But on the other hand they are spending money, if they have, on failed projects such as the new Bus Station. Neither negotiate nor manage or manage anything that goes beyond maintaining their positions and salaries
