Nothing has changed in the situation that limit the players of the team of the Dénia Futsal, after the meeting held in one of the locker rooms of the Field Diego Mena, with Gema Estrela, President of CD Dénia and some of its managers. According to Pablo Tarín, player and spokesperson of the Dénia Futsal squad, the decision is not to continue playing in the competition.
The players have proposed that what is owed be paid and that the leaders of the club acquire the commitment to allocate 26.000 more euros to be able to face the remaining expenses to finish the season. That would be the sacrifice that the board of directors should make that should seek that money for this section.
On the other hand, the boys of Dénia Futsal, accept to lower their salaries, modify the diets and stop traveling by bus to do it in vans. All this would reduce the contribution on the part of the directive that would go from 40.000 euros to those 26.000 euros. An amount that according to the players themselves would be easy to assume as long as you work for it.
Request of the players
The request made by the staff to his directive is to have guarantees that they will work to get the money. They ask that the agreement between them and the directive be reflected in a document signed by a notary.
The response from the club has been negative, they have only told the players that the commitment is to work to try to get the 26.000 euros, but all by mouth, nobody wants to endorse the agreement in writing and with a notary in between.
This answer together with that according to the players have been informed that only 2 people of the current directive bet to keep the football section, has led them to the conclusion, to continue with their bet not to continue playing in a club that does not believe in them.
