The employers of the Marina Alta and the Safor expose the needs of both regions before the autonomic employers

May 09 from 2018 - 15: 37

Dénia has been the venue for an important meeting between the representatives of the businessmen of La Marina Alta and La Safor with the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community. This initiative stems from a request made by the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Territory Structure, which is designing a program, UNEIX, for the improvement of mobility, infrastructure and transport services in the 2018/19 period.

To that end, the Business Cercle Marina Alta and the Federation of Business Associations of Safor (FAES), have exposed the needs of both regions in terms of infrastructure, transport and mobility.

Both federations have agreed to point out the train of the Coast as a priority, detailing that it must be a commuter line and begin by joining in the initial phase the towns of Gandia, Oliva and Dénia.

Of the remaining road deficiencies of both regions, they have claimed the 332 National circuits that avoid crossing Bellreguard and Oliva and improvements in the accesses to Gandia city and beach. An exit from the AP7 for Pedreguer was also established as a priority, Xàbia and Gata and the improvement of access to Calp from this highway.

With respect to the end of the concession of the AP7 and the liberalization of this road, it was established that, whatever the final decision in this regard, it is absolutely essential that the N-332 road be upgraded as an alternative to the highway.
