Dianenses athletes continue to address the important challenges which usually tend to emerge unscathed. On this occasion, David Ribes and Carlos Balaguer managed to finish the Triathlon Al-Mudayna in the distance known as "Medio Ironman".
The test had a first segment swimming 1.900 meters which took place in the reservoir of Argos in Cehegin. Carlos Balaguer, entered the 133 position of the overall standings with a total time of 6: 20: 00. His part was swimming 40: 53, it marked cycling track of 3: 32: 23, and the segment running, stopped the clock at 1: 59: 52.
The winner of the race was, Francisco Fernández-Cortés with a total time of 4: 33: 11, the second place went to Eduardo Chordá with a record of 4: 35: 38 and the podium was completed, Alberto Bravo who made a time 4: 40: 19.
