High school students are trained to detect toxic relationships and gender violence

The Dénia Local Police has recently completed an awareness and awareness campaign on the issue of gender violence. On this occasion the recipients have been 397 students of 3rd and 4th grade of the three institutes of Dénia, Marist, Paidos, Carmelitas and Alfa & Omega schools and IES Xèbic de Ondara.

The aim of the lectures given in schools is to educate young people about gender violence and detect if they are immersed in a toxic relationship and provide information on where they can go in case of abuse.

The talks dealt with the difference between domestic violence and gender-based violence, types of abuse, myths and misconceptions and how to identify a relationship of gender violence.
