High school students are trained to detect toxic relationships and gender violence

Dénia Local Police recently completed an awareness campaign and awareness on the issue of gender violence. This time the recipients have been 397 3º students and 4º primary of the three institutes Dénia, Marist schools, Paidos, Carmelitas and Alfa & Omega and the IES Xèbic de Ondara.

The aim of the lectures given in schools is to educate young people about gender violence and detect if they are immersed in a toxic relationship and provide information on where they can go in case of abuse.

The talks dealt with the difference between domestic violence and gender-based violence, types of abuse, myths and misconceptions and how to identify a relationship of gender violence.
