The students of IES number 3 know firsthand the work of the Newfoundland Dog Rescue

The Marina de Dénia marina has been the scene this week of an exhibition of Newfoundland maritime rescue dogs that has had exceptional spectators: students from IES Number 3 of Dénia who were able to see first-hand the important work that these animals do.

The day began in the middle, to the members of the Rescue Mare Nostrum moved to make an introductory talk about the importance of Newfoundland dogs. Later, in the marina, they could see an exhibition of the different styles of mock rescue that can perform these dogs and formulas covering lifeguards, surfboards and rescue group.

Director Marina de Denia, Gabriel Martínez said «es un propósito principal para Marina de Denia intentar que los jóvenes sean conocedores y partícipes de la cultura del mar y los valores de su gente».
