El PSPV-PSOE full Marina Alta last night held an informative meeting with civil society on the oil prospecting project on the Valencian Balearic coast with the presence of the secretary for climate change and sustainability of the PSOE, Pilar Lucio.
The socialist responsible reaffirmed in the meeting the non-resounding of the PSOE to the oil prospections throughout the Spanish state and opted for a new energy model.
In the course of the talk, the mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, highlighted the unity of the mayors of the Marina Alta against the oil prospecting project, reflected in the signing of the institutional declaration of the port of Dénia in April of this year, but regretted that the Vicepresident of the Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana, José Císcar, has not yet received them to address this issue, as requested by those dates.
