Dénia parties arrive with new locations to decentralize the program acts
Dénia is already counting the days until they begin, next Saturday, July 9, the major festivals in honor of the Holy Blood. This year there are several novelties included in the program that has been presented by the party councilor, Eva Ronda.
The first is the decentralization of activities, with new locations for the different proposals, leaving the center of town to places like Torrecremada, the parking lot of the guitar, where youth leisure area will be located; the Valgamedios square or City Hall Square.
This year highlights the considerable increase in children's activities, to be held practically every day, and the bet is carried out by local groups, who will star two nights of the week of festivities with concerts in Torrecremada.
The festivities kick off on Saturday, July 9 with the distribution of books by the fifth, books that changed the format this year to become something more practical and smaller to facilitate your inquiry to residents and visitors. The highlight of the day is the entry of bulls, at 19: 00 hours, the usual route, and the first performance of Bous a la Mar.
In the program on Sunday the 10th, the XXII Aplec de Danses stands out in the Plaza del Convento at 20:00 p.m. and the performance of the Patricia Dance School Sentí on stage street Via at 22: 30 hours.
Monday will be a new entry of bulls and afternoon children's activities stand out from 19: 30 hours in the Plaza del Consell and Calle La Mar, with workshops and inflatables. At night there will be musical theater in the Valgamedios square.
On Tuesday the Day of the Fallero will be celebrated, which this year takes up the tour of the city's districts to bring the party to the entire municipality. This year, as a novelty on this day, an exhibition of Valencian paella cuisine has been programmed open to associations and local groups that want to participate. Those interested can send an application from Thursday June 30 to Thursday July 7 to festes@ayto-denia.es. At night the appointment of the new charges of the Dénia failures will be held and at 00:30 hours the Correfoc will take place, which this year changes its route. On this occasion, it will start in the Plaza de la Constitución and pass through the Raconet de la Infanta Margarita, Diana and Marqués de Campo streets, detour through Cándida Carbonell and return through the same streets to Plaza de la Constitución.
On Wednesday of Holy Blood, besides the traditional Mass at 11: 30 hours Assumption and procession of the image for the afternoon at 20: 30 hours, highlights concert Artistic Agrupació Musical de Dénia, which this year will be dedicated to the Tenor Cortis 125 anniversary. On Thursday, July 14, Elders' Day, the tape race will take place in the afternoon on Marqués de Campo street, with the novelty of the organization by the Custom Miracels club in Dénia. At 21:00 p.m. La Vía street will host the traditional distribution of cocas to the elderly and at 23:00 p.m. the first of the concerts by local groups will take place, to be held in Torrecremada.
The second concert of local groups will be held on Friday, at the same time in the same location. That day will also be input bulls and a theater in the Plaza del Consell at 23: 00 hours.
In the programming for Saturday, July 16, the parade of floats and troupes stands out from 19:00 p.m. through Marqués de Campo, Diana and Patricio Ferrándiz streets. At midnight, the Monaco Orchestra will perform at the Glorieta and at the same time, a youth party in the La Guitarra parking lot.
The main festivities of Dénia will end on Sunday, July 17 with the last performances of Bous a la Mar, at 13:19 p.m. and 00:20 p.m., and the festive festival of Moors and Christians that will be held at 30:22 p.m. Marqués de Campo street, an act that is consolidated in the festival program after its celebration for the first time last year. At 00 pm, in La Vía street, there will be a Tribute to the Last of the Line and at midnight the fireworks display.
