Dénia is already counting down the days until they begin, next Saturday, July 9, the festivals in honor of the Holy Blood. This year there are several novelties included in the program that has been presented by the councilor for festivals, Eva Round.
The first is the decentralization of activities, with new locations for the different proposals, leaving the center of town to places like Torrecremada, the parking lot of the guitar, where youth leisure area will be located; the Valgamedios square or City Hall Square.
This year highlights the considerable increase in children's activities, to be held practically every day, and the bet is carried out by local groups, who will star two nights of the week of festivities with concerts in Torrecremada.
The festivities will kick off on Saturday, July 9, with the distribution of books by the fifths, some books that this year change the format to become something more practical and smaller in size that makes it easier for neighbors and visitors to consult. The main dish of the day is the entrance of the bulls, at 19:00 p.m., along the usual route, as well as the first performance of Bous a la Mar.
In the 10 Sunday program highlights the XXII Aplec de Danses in the Plaza del Convento at 20: 00 hours and performance of the School of Dance Patricia Sentí on stage street Via at 22: 30 hours.
Monday will be a new entry of bulls and afternoon children's activities stand out from 19: 30 hours in the Plaza del Consell and Calle La Mar, with workshops and inflatables. At night there will be musical theater in the Valgamedios square.
