And waving the blue flags in Dénia

The mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, and the councilors Sisco Signes, Pepa Font and Juan Carlos Signes, carried out the raising of the blue flag on the beach of Les Bovetes. This flag is a distinction that is awarded to beaches around the world, based on different environmental criteria and facilities: cleanliness, surveillance, water quality, quality of accesses, etc.

Beach Les Bovetes recovered this year 2010 distinctive. Award that was lost in the year 2007 after the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) consider that the stretch of coastline comprising the municipality of Dénia not meet the requirements of excellence beaches.

Denia are three beaches that are flying these flags: Les Bovetes, the Marineta Cassiana and the Real Club Nautico.
