The Mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, And Council Sisco Signes, Pepa Font y Juan Carlos Signes, carried out the hoisting of the Blue flag on the beach The Bovetes. This flag represents a distinction that is awarded to beaches from all over the world, based on different environmental and facility criteria: cleanliness, surveillance, water quality, quality of accesses, etc.
Beach Les Bovetes recovered this year 2010 distinctive. Award that was lost in the year 2007 after the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) consider that the stretch of coastline comprising the municipality of Dénia not meet the requirements of excellence beaches.
Denia are three beaches that are flying these flags: Les Bovetes, the Marineta Cassiana and the Real Club Nautico.
