Those responsible for Correos explained the new company policy that involves eliminating the door-to-door delivery service in the disseminated one, although they noted that, in the case of notifications and parcels, the delivery will remain at home. Likewise, they indicated that letters that have not yet been collected from the office and are owned by a mailbox, will be left in the new mailboxes.

Finally, the representatives of the Post Office thanked Dénia City Council for helping the neighborhood organize and get mailbox batteries.

In total, 1.092 mailboxes have been installed, distributed in two points of Deveses Y and Deveses II, 5 points of les Marines and 9 points of the Rotes Montgó area, of which 959 has been acquired. Currently, the concession of the mailboxes that have been released to petitioners who had not paid in time but who have reiterated that they want to acquire one is being processed.

On the other hand, people who do not yet have a mailbox can group and agree with other neighbors and, in coordination with the Post Office and the City Council, place new batteries or wait for a new call from the City Council to request it.
