During it, they visited the Interpretation Center of the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park, where they could learn about the constancy of its first settlers, in the Bronze Age, and that of an Iberian town, nowadays disappeared. During the visit to the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park, they also had the opportunity to enjoy the richness of the fauna and flora of this small and emblematic natural park.
Already in the History Museum located in the old town, the students were able to contemplate the oldest materials that the museum houses, dating back to the Bronze Age corresponding to the Cocentari site and to the Iberian Era, belonging to the Peñón de Ifach.

This week the UNED Senior class of "Beliefs, myths and gods in the pre-Roman Iberian Peninsula" will go on an excursion to one of the most important prehistoric Upper Paleolithic sites in Europe, the Cova del Parpalló, in Gandia.
