A tourist occupation of 85%, the second half of August exceeded by 16% forecast tourism department of the municipality of Dénia. The shuffled data regarding the hotel reservations were 71% and finally reached the 87%; tourist rental accommodations are located in a 85% and campsites have an estimate average of 73,5%.
Compared with the same period of 2012, occupation this year has been a 5% higher in hotels and tourist rental 10% higher in campsites. As for the overall data, the occupation of the month exceeds by 4% of the 2012.
Forecasts for September
Based on the reserves they hold, it is expected during the first half of September the occupation is placed around the 48%, very similar to last year's forecast figure. Establishments in tourist rental occupancy is expected around 53%; in hotels forecasting it is the 51% and campsites is the 26%.
