The Veteran Football League brings together 18 teams that will fight for the title

The Regional League Veteran football that begins this Sunday brings together this season 18 teams, belonging to seven municipalities of the Marina Alta and one of La Safor. All of them will fight to obtain the title of champion that owns the set of Kénia Denia.

The only novelty in terms of equipment is marked by the withdrawal of Renewable Energies, from Ondara, its position will be occupied by the La Casa della Pasta team, a team from Xàbia.

As in previous seasons, the competition system is a first phase where all teams will play with each other, in a league with only one lap. The top nine in the standings will play in the group for the title, the rest for consolation.

The most important innovation is that the top three finishers will no longer have the points they were given, they will simply move on with points that have added up from the first nine days. That is, they will not be granted any advantage. A measure to ensure that the competition in the second phase are more evenly matched than it was in previous campaigns.
