The Regional Veteran Football League that begins this coming Sunday brings together 18 teams this season, belonging to seven municipalities in the Marina Alta and one from La Safor. All of them will fight to get the title of champion held by the Kamarca Dénia team.
The only novelty in regards to equipment is marked by the decrease of Renewable Energies, Ondara, his position will occupy, the set La Casa della Pasta, team of Xàbia.
As in previous seasons, the competition system is a first phase where all teams will play with each other, in a league with only one lap. The top nine in the standings will play in the group for the title, the rest for consolation.
The most important innovation is that the top three finishers will no longer have the points they were given, they will simply move on with points that have added up from the first nine days. That is, they will not be granted any advantage. A measure to ensure that the competition in the second phase are more evenly matched than it was in previous campaigns.
