The Evangelical Church baptizes by immersion 27 people

La Iglesia Evangélica Bautista «La Trinitat» de Dénia celebró el pasado martes 24 de junio al 93 aniversario del primer bautismo celebrado en Dénia. El mismo lugar, la playa de la Marineta Casiana, pero una época totalmente diferente.

Now, 93 years later and during the anniversary of its first centenary, 27 members of the Church repeated that ritual in the same place to give testimony of their faith.

The act began with the discovery of a sculpture by Toni Marí that represents the baptism and that will remain installed at the height of the Cemetery of the English. Next, Pastor Antonio Calero and the Councilor for Culture, Pepa Font, spoke. Pastor Jorge Pastor ended with a prayer before proceeding to the baptism of the faithful.
