The project is already written, so now the deadlines are accelerated. According to municipal sources, it is time to tender the project, a phase that can last around 2 months. After the study and adjudication, the term of allegations will open and, finally, the final award of the work.

If the deadlines are met, everything indicates that in 2019 the works of the new school will be underway. The mayor of La Xara, Maite Pérez Conejero, has been very excited about the news. According to him, he is confident that the works can begin in September. For now, the City Council will clear the grounds. Furthermore, taking advantage of the street resurfacing works undertaken by the Alicante Provincial Council, the electricity connections that will be necessary for the center were prepared.

The Plan Edificant aims to streamline the procedures for the construction and improvement of Valencian schools and allows the municipalities that join the program to move forward in the processing of the files for the actions they consider to be priorities in their educational centers. The municipalities make the requests and the Generalitat finances all the actions to the town councils that take part in this plan.
