The exhibition that shows the marine beauty in Dénia and everything it provides

Yesterday afternoon the collective exhibition opened to the public The art of posidonia, a proposal that brings together in the Casa de la Marquesa Valero de Palma (c. Caballeros, 3 - Dénia) creations by artists from Dénia, Ibiza and Cambrils inspired by posidonia: ceramic pieces, jewelry, painting and sculpture, artistic expressions for "make others see the importance of this endemic plant of the Mediterranean, which gives life to our sea", as the mayor of Dénia stressed, Vicent Grimalt.

The exhibition is part of an ecotourism project called I saw the posidonia, which are jointly developed by the town councils of Ibiza, Cambrils and Dénia with financing from the European Union-NextGenerationEU.

The art of posidonia exhibits ceramic works by Magari Things -Angélica Fossemó and Jean Fleche- (Dénia); jewelry created by Elisa Pomar and Enric Majoral (Ibiza), painting by David Callau (Cambrils) and pieces by the sculptor Antonio Villanueva and the painter Júlia Ribas, contributed through the Foundation Baleària.

In addition, you can visit a sample of photographs of the seabed of Dénia taken by Carlos Ortolà, Nacho Ivars and Luis Pérez, members of the GISED Dénia diving club, and Alfredo Sanz, member of Fotoclub Dénia.

Exhibition The art of posidonia It can be visited from October 5 to November 5 at the Casa de la Marquesa Valero in Palma (c. Caballers, 3).

Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
