Facilities at the special school Raquel Payà are obsolete for sixty students from throughout the region who daily come to the middle class. From the center they defend that the budgetary endowment with which the expansion project counts, of around 3,5 million euros, would be enough for the construction of a new building that would meet the needs of special education students. Ivars affirmed that, although from Conselleria they have not pronounced on this possible change of project, nobody has denied the possibility of taking it ahead, reason why they are shown hopeful with the attitude of the autonomic government, as well as by the support of the local government. The mayor, Vicent Grimalt, already showed in May his predisposition to provide a municipal land for the construction of this new building.

The expansion of the school was scheduled for the second half of 2016, but projects that are running on this in Valencia are late.
