The management of waste, climate change, biodiversity, agriculture and healthy eating, among other issues, have been the issues addressed this year in dianenses educational centers within the programming of the Department of Environment of the City of Dénia.
A total of 43 activities have been offered that have reached 6.976 schools in the educational centers of Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre.
The environmental education program has been developed with the collaboration of entities, associations and companies such as Marina de Denia, the Pòsit, APAC, the Fundem, Texlimca, Mundo Marino, aqualia, Urbaser, the municipal department of Parks and Gardens and the Office of Innovation and Creativity of the City of Dénia.
Once the course is finished, the Department of the Environment Josep Crespo is already working on next year's activities, among which is an activity related to the recovery of wheat cultivation in Jesús Pobre, in collaboration with the Association of the Mercat del Riurau, and another, organized with the Marina de Dénia sports club, which will combine a theoretical talk about the marine environment with the practice of some water sport such as kayaking or paddle surfing.
