podem Dénia, local circle of Podemos, I celebrate its VI Assembly in which there was a good participation. The attendees were mostly in favor of seeking ways of collaboration with other political forces and civic associations that allow a change in the municipality on the occasion of the upcoming municipal elections of 24 in May.
With a majority of 52 votes in favor, 3 against and 2 abstentions, the assembly expressed its wish that the citizen council of Podem Dénia, the body responsible for executing and developing the agreements taken, continue the talks initiated to try to achieve a confluence of those formations and collectives that share the common goal of achieving more efficient, transparent and democratic municipal management.
To do this, the city council has agreed to launch an appeal to all political parties and citizens movements present in Dénia to study possible forms of collaboration, among which the possibility of concurrently attending municipal elections is not ruled out.
We currently have several hundred enrolled in Dénia. And in European elections last May, when this training was still little known, obtained in Dénia over a thousand two hundred votes, almost 10% of the total.
