The Mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, Has reviewed together with the general director of Public Works and Urban Projects, Vicente Dómine, the 15 projects of the city council of Dénia that have been approved within the Trust Plan.
At the meeting Kringe has asked the Department of Infrastructures that the city of Denia has the power to tender works subsidized by the Generalitat. Dómine has shown her strong support to the mayor of Denia "in her interest to boost the productive economy and the generation of employment within the municipality" and has stated that the necessary procedures will be put in place for the Ministry of Finance to approve the delegation of action Of the works.
The meeting also aimed to promote the actions approved by the Generalitat to be implemented as quickly as possible. The consistory is finishing drafting the execution projects that will outline the actions to be carried out in the municipality with a total grant of 7,1 million euros.
The accepted projects "consecrate the Dénia model as an urban model of very high quality that develops its great patrimonial and urban potential in order to promote activity and employment", assured Vicente Dómine. The director general also said that the works that were presented by the town council after a popular survey are successful in the "goal of Denia to achieve a pole of attraction of very high quality for tourism and substantially improve the quality of life of dianenses."
The City Council of Denia anticipates that the last action pending approval of those presented by the session to Plan Confianza, the rehabilitation and extension of the school of La Xara, will be accepted during the next month.
