The State Meteorological Agency has increased the warning time for rain in the Marina Alta. Despite waiting for it since Friday, the rain did not fall hard until Sunday, when it was the main protagonist throughout the day. In fact, the water made it necessary to cut the Camí del Llavador.
For Monday, intense rains are expected throughout the day, with a minimum temperature of 10º and maximum of 13º. In the afternoon the rain will decrease and it is expected that on Tuesday the sky will give us a truce. That day the yellow alert was decreed for maritime storm but the alert for rain and wind will be removed.
But it will only be a truce, because on Friday the clouds and the rain will come back to make an appearance. It is expected that on Friday, 23 will stop the rains and that on Christmas Eve the sun will return.
Suspend classes
On Sunday, at the last minute, the City Council announced the suspension of classes in all schools in the city for Monday 19 for the weather alert.
