Juanito Oiarzábal celebrated in Dénia International Mountain Day

Basque mountaineer Juanito Oiarzábal was on Sunday in Dénia to celebrate in advance the Mountain Day commemorated tomorrow Tuesday December 11.

The day began with the climb to the Creueta del Montgó, where they arrived at around noon 12 70 people. During the ascent could connect with 50 near mountains around the country, and once up the mountain manifesto was read.

During the talk Juanito had a detail with Toni Massanet, father of Dani, the child who managed to climb the Creueta despite the degenerative disease that suffers and prevents him from walking normally.

At the end, Oiarzábal devoted himself to sign books and T-shirts to attendees who wanted, and took photos with them.

The celebration of International Mountain Day celebration will culminate with the official ceremony next Tuesday, in which a FAO conference will be held to commemorate the anniversary.
