The EATIM Jesús Pobre will be taken over by more than a thousand athletes who will gather to compete in the XVI Cursa Popular Jesús Pobre, the fifth scoring event of the Circuit a peu Marina Alta 2013. The start and finish line are located in Plaça del Poble. The participants in the queen test will start at 19:XNUMX p.m.
The organizing club is La Faixa, by Jesús Pobre who, as always, has designed a fun path for all the athletes. The length of it is 9.800 meters with a complicated profile since the race becomes a slide of slopes.
The output is taken at 110 meters above sea level and the positive and negative slopes accumulated add 95 meters, with two long sections of downhill and other so many climbs. Being the sixth test of Circuit a Peu the athletes' efforts are already being noticed in the legs, reason why some will have to make a conservative approach to face two last kilometers of rise with enough energy to enter with joy under the banner Of goal.
There will be a commemorative t-shirt gift for the first 1.200 that pass through the finish line. Trophies for the first three classified in each of the categories. As in the previous tests, a trip for two people to Ibiza or Mallorca will be raffled, courtesy of the Balèaria shipping company. Also a bonus for the Spa at the Marriott La Sella Hotel. The top three qualifiers of CA La Faixa will also receive their trophies.
The youngsters will also be protagonists as there will be careers for the lower categories, although like in Pego the children of 9 years will not have careers for them. The beginning of tests for children will be at 17 hours.
