Jesus Pobre and La Xara releases mayor repeats

Javier Scotto di Tella, from the PSOE, is the new president of the Jesús Pobre EATIM. By 5 votes, the socialist beat the current mayor, Antonio Llobell, of Gent de Dénia, who has held the position in the last 8 years. In this way, the new Jesús Pobre Neighborhood Council is made up of the two of them, Miguel Ángel Costa (GD) and Mª Rosa Costa, Sebastià Aguililla and Josep Lluís Fornés (Bloc).

In the Xara the recount was even more bitter, since it was only one vote that differentiated the results between the current mayor, the nationalist Josep Fornés (294 votes) and Pablo Ivars (CU) (293 votes). Fornés and Ivars will form the Neighborhood Board together with the nationalists Evaristo Ivars and Juan Bautista Montaner and the centrists Juan Montaner, Juan Carlos Baidal and Pedro Juan Catalá.
