Javier Scotto di Tella PSOE, is the new president of the EATIM of Jesús Pobre. By 5 votes, the socialist prevailed over the current mayor, Antonio Llobell, of Gent of Dénia, who has held the position for the past 8 years. In this way, the new Jesús Pobre Neighborhood Council is made up of the two of them, Miguel Ángel Costa (GD) and Mª Rosa Costa, Sebastià Aguililla and Josep Lluís Fornés (Bloc).
In the Xara the recount was even more bitter, since it was only one vote that differentiated the results between the current mayor, the nationalist Josep Fornés (294 votes) and Pablo Ivars (CU) (293 votes).
