Tonight, at 21 hours, the nerve center of the festival fallera in Dénia will be the Plenary Hall of the City Council. And, at that time and after 60 minutes of voting, the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, will call the new Falleras Mayores of the city.

The candidates, eight girls and five young women, spent the Sunday of coexistence with the Local Fallera Board. They had breakfast in a downtown restaurant, went up to the Castle to discover more about the history of Dénia, and shared a paella in the facilities of the Sant Vicent Ferrer School in Les Rotes. In the afternoon, the candidates were able to chat with the members of the Board and the delegates and presidents who have the right to vote on their illusions about the position.

Finally there will be no preselection of children candidates, since the regulation marked a maximum of 7 candidates and eight were presented. On Sunday afternoon, and in an extraordinary assembly convened by the president of the Board, it was decided that all of them form part of the Local Board this year, without excluding any girl.

Alba Márquez Crespo, from the Saladar Falla; Diana Asunción Malonda, from the Falla Darrere del Castell; Teresa Llorens Rosado, from the Falla Baix la Mar; Miriam León Álvarez from La Falla Camp Roig; Paloma Mengual Benavente of the Falla Oeste; Neus Martí Ferrer of the Falla Port Rotes; Emma Miralles Roselló, from Falla Les Roques and Paula Serrat Calafat, from Falla Saladar.

And the candidates for Fallera Mayor de Dénia are:

María Jiménez Vinaróz, Campaments Fault; Lorena Paris Monserrat, Fault Baix la Mar; Payer Pamela Barber Les Roques Fault; Naia Jimenez Ibarzabal Port Rotes Fault; and Sara Femenia Paris Ribes de Falla Pedrera.
