Today we will know the name of the new Falleras Over Denia

Tonight, at 21 hours, the nerve center of the festival fallera in Dénia will be the Plenary Hall of the City Council. And, at that time and after 60 minutes of voting, the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, will call the new Falleras Mayores of the city.

The candidates, eight girls and five young women, spent the Sunday of coexistence with the Local Board Fallera. They had breakfast in a downtown restaurant in the city, went up to the Castle to discover something more about the history of Dénia, and they shared a paella in the facilities of the Sant Vicent Ferrer School in Les Rotes. In the afternoon, the candidates were able to chat with the members of the Board and the delegates and presidents who have the right to vote about their illusions about the position.

Finally there will be no preselection of children candidates, since the regulation marked a maximum of 7 candidates and eight were presented. On Sunday afternoon, and in an extraordinary assembly convened by the president of the Board, it was decided that all of them form part of the Local Board this year, without excluding any girl.

Alba Márquez Crespo, the Falla Saladar; Diana Asunción Malonda, the Falla Darrere del Castell; Teresa Llorens Rosado, the Falla Baix la Mar; Miriam Alvarez of León Falla Camp Roig; Paloma Mengual Benavente Falla Oeste; Neus Martí Ferrer of Falla Port Rotes; Emma Miralles Rosello, the Falla Les Roques and Paula Serrat Calafat, Falla Saladar.

And the candidates for Fallera Mayor de Dénia are:

María Jiménez Vinaróz, the Falla Campaments; Lorena Paris Monserrat, from the Falla Baix la Mar; Pamela Pagador Barber of the Falla Les Roques; Naia Jiménez Ibarzabal from the Port Rotes Fault; and Sara Femenia Ribes of the Paris Falla Pedrera.
