With the objective of meeting the needs of the families of the children of the Raquel Payà Special Education School, HLA San Carlos Dénia organizes the first solidarity campaign to collaborate with the donation of school materials.
The next September 17, you can collaborate with the donation of cases, paints, glue, pencils, markers, rules or notebooks that can be reused, going to the HLA Dénia, Alicante.
And it is that the return to school is for many families a great economic effort that sometimes can not cope. Many of these items of school equipment, although they are in good condition, are thrown away every year because they have become unusable to their owners, or because they are replaced by new ones. But now, thanks to the 1st Solidarity Campaign for the Collection of School Materials organized by HLA San Carlos Office of Denia, they can be given a second life.
This activity will take place from the 10 day until the next 17 day in September. This initiative supposes "Another opportunity for HLA San Carlos to bet on those activities that represent our values as an organization, personal improvement and perseverance, as well as reaffirming our commitment to social responsibility ", affirm from HLA San Carlos.
During the 8 days of the campaign, anyone who wants to collaborate can deposit the material in the main hall of the HLA hospital in Denia. "The biggest requests of parents are cases, paintings, glue, pencils, markers, rules, notebooks ... that is, all those items that are in good condition and can be reused", They explain from HLA.
The hospital collaborates in this activity with the Raquel Payá center, with more than 30 years of travel and whose main objective is to provide an educational and rehabilitative response to children who have special needs for didactic support. The center, which throughout its trajectory has gone from 5 to 11 classrooms, currently has more than 70 students from 3 to 22 years, and a professional staff composed of a multidisciplinary team.
