HLA San Carlos is being a reference in the city of Dénia, so much so that it has already opened its new facilities to the public. After two years of rehabilitation, they have been able to modernize 3.000m2 of space with an investment that exceeds 2.000.000 €.
The new building will be equipped with emergencies, Diagnostic Imaging and external consultations, with reference equipment such as an 1,5 Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tesla, next generation helical TAC and 3D color Doppler ultrasound, all of the latest generation of image and data processing. .
This renovated space has on its first floor with the consultations of Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Day Hospital, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Neurophysiology, among others, as well as an intermediate care room.
In addition, the space for the hosptalization has also been extended on the second and last floor, with eight modern rooms, in total 585m2 more. In these new bedrooms will be equipped with the latest advances in telemetry for the constant motorization of the admitted patient.
The Emergency 4 boxes, the External Consultation area and the waiting rooms have also been remodeled for the greater convenience.
Sports Medicine Unit
HLA San Carlos Office also has the new Sports Medicine Unit, in which there is a group of specialists available to patients such as: sports doctor, physical trainer, nutritionist, podiatrist, cardiologist, traumatologist and physiotherapist.
Regarding the Nutrition Unit, recently created, it offers a multidisciplinary vision with internist doctor, nutritionist, specialists in General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery, speech therapist and clinical psychologist.
