Phymetry is a technique that measures reflux by monitoring the Ph of the esophagus during 24 hours by introducing a catheter through the nose. These results allow to know the time that the gastric juices remain in contact with the esophagus and what is causing the inflammation. On the other hand, the high resolution manometry tests (MAR) identify the capacity of contraction and the strength of the musculature of the esophagus to know if the sphincter works correctly.
