During the morning of Monday, in Dénia they have taken La Virgen to walk the streets of the city in a most atypical procession. The pandemic has also forced religious events to reinvent themselves, so churches have had to pull their imagination to continue celebrating their acts in a new normal.
The Virgin has surprised those who have come across her because of the curious carriage in which she was transported. A vehicle with a large transparent box like a fish tank, vaguely reminiscent of the famous popemobile, carried the image, replacing the shoulders of the faithful and thus avoiding causing possible infections.
The idea, as it has already been practiced on other occasions as with the parade of kings, is to make a quick tour to be able to show the image avoiding causing crowds in the streets.
