May 30 from 2013 - 13: 08

Surprise at the port of Denia: city fishermen found the shark, three meters in length, dianenses waters. This is a basking shark, the second largest ocean fish, which can reach 10 meters in length.

The basking shark poses no danger to humans, as they are very tolerant of their presence and feed on plankton. It is a usual coasts and bays, and the persecution they have been subjected for many years, are a protected species in many countries.
