August 02 from 2016 - 00: 31

The mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, travels to Valencia on Tuesday together with the mayors of Oliva and Gandía to participate in a meeting with the minister MªJosé Salvador, with whom they will discuss matters relating to the coastal train. Grimalt arrives after having met yesterday Monday with the mayors of the region and coinciding with all of them in completely rejecting the report of the Ministry of Development that concludes that the Tren de la Costa is an economically unviable infrastructure.

In the meeting held with all of them in the City of Dénia, of more than two hours, they concluded that each municipality that has received the study of the Ministry will present the allegations corresponding to its territory before the next 5 day of August, last day so that the institutions present allegations to the document.

The mayors of the region of the Marina Alta agreed that they do not like the project submitted by the Ministry, preferring written before the latter, so that at the meeting of Tuesday Grimalt request the Department reports 2014 issued by the Government to find a common position among the regions of the Navy and Safor.

After the meeting with the Xarxa d'Mayors City Hall opened its doors to dozens of citizens who attended the briefing on the Tren de la Costa. Many questions and showed a lot of interest participation of all sectors of the local population by an infrastructure that is already taking too long to get to the Marina Alta.
