Granada will collaborate with Dénia in preparing the nomination for Creative City

Tourism Fair, FITUR, held these days in Madrid, is bearing fruit. On Wednesday, the first day of the fair, the mayor and the president of Aehtma, Cristina Sellés, they met with the mayor of Granada José Torres Hurtado, and the Councilor for Culture of the Granada City Council, Juan Manuel García Montero, to talk about the steps they have taken to join the Network of Creative Cities of Unesco as a City of Literature, achieved in 2014.

Among other tips, the Grenadian mayor has recommended strongly encouraged to establish previous relationships with cities that already belong to the Network of Unesco fundamental since Dénia need your endorsement and also is usual that some of these municipalities will be invited by the Unesco part of the committee that chooses the cities that will be incorporated Network.

At the meeting it was also agreed that from the next days the contacts between the technicians of both town halls will begin to prepare the candidacy that Dénia will present again in the next call.

The first day of FITUR have gathered at the stand of the Costa Blanca in Fitur alicantinos representatives of numerous municipalities participating in the fair with Dénia and Deputy Tourism, Joaquín Albadalejo.
