- Citizens have contributed more than 250 ideas to improve the city
The first phase of the sixth edition of the Participatory Budgets of the Dénia City Council fulfills its first and main objective: to involve citizens so that they contribute their ideas on what aspects should be improved in the city.
In this first stage, the residents of Dénia have contributed more than 250 ideas of all kinds, the ones that are repeated the most have to do with improving playgrounds, planting trees, paving streets, improving sidewalks and installing bike racks, among others.
In addition, the great novelty of this edition was that citizens of all ages could present their proposal, that is, children have also been able to contribute their ideas.
For this reason, an informative dossier was sent to the educational centers inviting participation, thus also including the ideas raised by the students of educational centers such as the IES Maria Ibars.
Feasibility study of the proposals
From this moment on, all the ideas presented begin to be studied, thus assessing their feasibility in order to prepare the final project list, which will go to popular vote from the next day November 1th.
