The summer course of the UNED on theater and social education ends in Jávea

Between July 16 and 18, the Aula de Xàbia of the UNED held the course Social Theater and Education. Theatrical tools for empowerment and social transformation, framed in XXVIII Summer Courses of the UNED of Denia.

This course offered the learning of the basic theatrical tools of Paulo Freire, the theater of the oppressed of Augusto Boal and the systemic theater performing group and personal work.

The presentation was made by the director of the UNED of Dénia, Raquel Martí, who thanked the collaboration of Montserrat Villaverde, councilor for education and culture of the Xàbia City Council. Antonio Padilla also intervened, who commented that it was to be appreciated the realization of this course in his municipality.

During three days, a total of eight presentations were made, which were completed with a very active dynamic of student participation. The course ended the July 18.
