Between the 16 and the 18 of July, the Classroom of Xàbia of the UNED held the course Social Theater and Education. Theatrical tools for empowerment and social transformation, framed in XXVIII Summer Courses of the UNED of Denia.
This course offered the learning of the basic theatrical tools of Paulo Freire, the theater of the oppressed of Augusto Boal and the systemic theater performing group and personal work.
The presentation of the same one was in charge of the director of the UNED of Dénia, Raquel Martí, who thanked the collaboration of Montserrat Villaverde, councilor of education and culture of the City of Xàbia. Also Antonio Padilla intervened who commented that it was to be grateful to carry out this course in his municipality.
During three days, a total of eight presentations were made, which were completed with a very active dynamic of student participation. The course ended the July 18.
